The Natural Process suggests that over time the problem will just go away.

Unfortunately, the natural process of off-gassing is undetermined. Not a single scientific test has been able to show how long the off-gassing process will last. Many environmental factors affect this process and create variables which have proven to make the rate of off-gassing elusive.

The Department of Health at both the State and Federal Level has not been able to conclusively determine why the reaction is taking place.

If you choose to “wait it out” you may have to wait a long time, prolonging your family’s exposure and further compromising the equipment and possibly the structure of your home.

Our work in the removal and treatment of Chinese Drywall has proven that the structure behind the drywall has absorbed the damaging gasses. The structure, left untreated, will present some degree of reoccurrence. Our testing has shown this reoccurrence in as little as 7 days.

While it is known that many homes have undergone this remove and replace process, little to no information on the long term success or failure of this procedure exists due to Non-Disclosure Contracts. Certainly, if this process is truly effective, one would imagine that the results would be made very public to ensure the process becomes an acceptable form of treatment. However, we are unable to find any glowing reports to support this process.
